These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of AI Voice Recorder (“the App”), provided by Muhammad Umer. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The App

AI Voice Recorder lets you record, play, organize, edit, import, convert, and share audio on your device. Optional features include transcription, trimming, cropping, noise reduction, Private Vault, Premium subscriptions, exporting audio in multiple formats, and extracting audio from videos you select. The free version may display third-party advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Premium subscriptions remove ads.

2. No account

The App does not require an account. You are responsible for your device and how you use the App.

3. Premium Subscriptions

AI Voice Recorder offers optional auto-renewable Premium subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Premium subscriptions unlock additional features and higher usage limits within the App. Premium also removes advertisements.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Apple manages all billing, renewals, refunds (where applicable), and payment processing. We do not receive or store your payment card information or Apple ID credentials.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of your recordings, generated transcripts, and any text (.txt) or PDF files you export from those transcripts. You are solely responsible for:

• Obtaining permission before recording others
• Complying with laws in your location (e.g. consent for recording)

• Sharing recordings, transcripts, or exported TXT/PDF files through the iOS share sheet

We do not access your recordings on our servers. We also do not receive copies of transcripts or files that you choose to copy, export, or share using the App.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights. Do not use the App to record or distribute content you do not have the right to use.

6. Permissions

Some features need iOS permissions (microphone, speech recognition, file access). The App may also request App Tracking Transparency permission related to personalized advertising. You may deny permissions; related features or personalized ads may not work.

7. Third-party services

Transcription uses Apple’s services. Crash reports may be sent to Firebase Crashlytics as described in our Privacy Policy. Anonymous usage analytics may also be collected through Firebase Analytics as described in our Privacy Policy. Advertising may be provided by Google AdMob, and consent messaging may be provided by Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP), as described in our Privacy Policy. Sharing uses third-party apps you select; their terms and privacy policies apply to them.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free transcription, or that the App will meet your needs.

Transcription and audio processing may contain errors. Exported transcript files (such as TXT or PDF documents) accurately reflect the transcript generated by the App but may also contain transcription inaccuracies. They are not intended for legal, medical, safety-critical, or other high-risk purposes.

We are not responsible for any loss of data caused by device failure, app misuse, or system issues.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Muhammad Umer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or content arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or USD $0 if the App is free).

10. Changes

We may update the App or these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the App or features at any time.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
